A BIG congratulations to the Denver Broncos for winning the AFC Championship! On February 7th the entire nation will be stuck in front of their televisions watching the most anticipated game of the year…. The SUPER BOWL. Food and drinks will be served in excess and just because you’re gluten-free doesn’t mean you can’t partake in grubbing on tradition Super Bowl goodies!
The cheeseburger was invented in Denver, Colorado so of course if you are a true Broncos fan you MUST serve delicious cheeseburger sliders… gluten-free of course. The great thing about preparing cheeseburger sliders is that they are simple and quick. I recommend serving your sliders on Schars Ciabatta bread for a different texture … it taste sooooo good! Although the buns are big, just simply slice each bun into four mini buns. (make sure to toast the bread and spread a little butter to keep moist)A cheesebuger just wouldn’t be right without a the perfect sharp aged cheddar from Applegate’s Farm . This happens to be one of my favorites.
I encourage when making your sliders you use grass feed ground beef or organic ground turkey or chicken. Processed meat can carry hidden traces of gluten. Get your meat in a bowl and mix in the ingredients shown below.
Preheat grill over medium-high heat.
Place the sliders on the grill and cook to desired temperature ( I love medium-well) when the sliders are about done, top with your favorite cheese and allow it to melt.
